CHERRY POP FESTIVAL PAST EDITIONS
Cherry Pop Festival 2025
Through its inclusive and interdisciplinary program, 2025 edition invited audiences to ask the question behind its theme: “A tko si ti? / Who are you?” — creating a safe space for reflection, openness, and connection, through artistic works.
From October 23rd to 25th, Dokukino KIC and Studio-Galerija Klet have become spaces of dialogue, art, and emotion, celebrating intimacy, identity, and self-expression through a rich and diverse program.
Cherry Pop Festival 2024
The 2024 edition of the festival was titled “Sex and S(t)imulation” and it explored the complex and evolving relationship between objects, virtual reality, and human sexuality. In an era where digital platforms like Tinder, pornographic sites, and OnlyFans shape how young people experience desire and intimacy, Cherry Pop Festival aimed to stimulate critical discussions and explore new aspects of sexuality through artistic works.
Cherry Pop Festival 2023
The 2023 edition of the festival was titled “Where does sex end and work begins” and it explored the complex topic of sex work through its film and accompanying program.
Cherry Pop Festival 2022
The 2022 edition was our first festival edition, aiming to provide the audience with an experience of films that explore sexuality and gender identity, as well as their interrelation with social norms, the digital world, and violence.
