On the 23rd of November, the third edition of the Cherry Pop Festival concluded with an awards ceremony at Dokukino KIC, celebrating a program that showcased 16 international short films across three competitive segments.
Besides the film screenings, the festival offered varied accompanying programs in three days, from an exhibition and panel discussion to two workshops and an erotic quiz.
Check out a glimpse of the atmosphere and we hope to see you next year too.
The Cherry Pop Festival is a unique interdisciplinary event that approaches sexuality from both an educational and artistic perspective. It provides a platform for open dialogue and exploration of human sexuality in all its facets.
This year’s edition of the festival is titled “Sex and S(t)imulation” and explores the complex and evolving relationship between objects, virtual reality, and human sexuality. In an era where digital platforms like Tinder, pornographic sites, and OnlyFans shape how young people experience desire and intimacy, Cherry Pop Festival aimed to stimulate critical discussions and explore new aspects of sexuality through artistic works.
